How to get a natural or dewy fresh and nude look? One has to ensure total cleansing, toning and moisturizing of skin, rub ice on the face and pat dry. Use foundation closest to your skin colour, and dab on in circular motion, evenly. If you need coverage of blemishes, use a correct concealer and apply on the blemishes or cover dark circles. Use a light pat of translucent powder over foundation to set. You can use a cream or powder blush of nude colour, light peach, pink sparingly on your cheeks to add colour to your face and use the same on your eyelids.
Curl your lashes and add two coats of mascara to them. Avoid applying too much cosmetic or eyeliner and instead try a brown eye pencil on the insides. Do not use a black liner totally but you may use the same brown pencil to define your eyes, and as you have to pay equal attention to your eyes and lips as well for the natural look. Also apply a lip balm to your lips. Use an ear bud to remove excess dry skin on your lips. Tinted lip balms do the trick of adding moisture and colour to it. Go for a fresh peach, nude, light pink, flesh tones gloss as per what suits you best.
If you using a light foundation or a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation on your skin for a natural and dab a little concealer to hide any flaws that you might have on the skin. If it is for a summer look then you can dab powder that is light on the skin to set it. So if you are sweating also it is not a problem.
For the eyes light shades and happy colours like peaches light brown, pink, soft lilac, etc. These subtle colours help give a nice and natural fresh look. If you are out during the day then avoid wearing eyeliner. Simply curl your eye lashes with an eye lash curler and apply mascara for a nice wide eyed look. For the cheeks you could apply a tinted blush which is like an ink. It is a different kind of blush altogether. You have to apply it on the skin and quickly rub it off so it looks like you are naturally blushing. You get the same for the lips as well. Apply the lip tint so that you do not have to keep touching up your lips, especially in the summer as the sun wears out the colour quickly. Give a coat of clear gloss or a lip balm for a good finish.

Less is more
Though the procedure to apply makeup for a fresh look is rather easy, we end up making a few mistakes that could lead to hazardous end results. Avoid heavy paint sticks, panstick or pancake. Avoid using coloured eye shadows like blue, green. Do not apply heavy dark eyeliner as the whole purpose of a natural and fresh look is then lost. Avoid bright coloured blush and lipsticks. Remember one thing, in nude makeup less is more!
